Subscription and Billing Terms

Billing rules for subscriptions, paid features, app-store purchases, Google Play purchases, entitlements, and promotion boosts.

1. Purpose

These Subscription and Billing Terms govern SportPulse paid digital features, recurring subscriptions, add-ons, one-time digital products, app-store purchases, Play billing purchases, manual entitlements, credits, promotion boosts, billing records, renewals, cancellations, and related support.

They do not replace terms for real-world services such as court bookings, tournament participation, or coaching sessions, except where a digital entitlement is sold separately.

SportPulse may offer:

  • Player Plus.
  • Organizer Ops Pack.
  • Coach Reports Pack.
  • Venue Intelligence Pack.
  • Promotion Boost.
  • Other subscriptions, add-ons, trials, beta entitlements, manual entitlements, partner plans, or promotional products.

Product names, benefits, prices, billing cycles, availability, and eligibility may change over time.

4. Free Features

SportPulse may provide a free tier that includes core features such as discovery, live scores, following players or tournaments, hosting and joining games, tournament participation, court booking, basic scoring, and basic analytics.

Free features may change, require an account, depend on role, vary by platform, or be limited for abuse, security, compliance, or operational reasons.

5. Premium Features

Premium features may include:

  • Advanced analytics.
  • Analytics export.
  • Extended history.
  • Priority alerts.
  • Priority watchlists.
  • Extra team variants.
  • Profile boost.
  • Organizer scheduler tools.
  • Organizer reporting.
  • Coach reports.
  • Partner advanced reporting.
  • Partner advanced analytics.
  • Multi-venue rollups.
  • Temporary sponsored discovery boost.

Premium features may depend on data availability, account role, venue/organizer/coach approval, app version, API support, platform policy, or feature maturity.

6. Prices and Taxes

Prices may be shown in INR or another supported currency depending on platform, region, store, tax treatment, and payment method. Prices may include or exclude applicable taxes, GST, platform fees, convenience fees, app-store charges, or payment-provider charges as disclosed at purchase.

If pricing shown by SportPulse differs from pricing shown in Apple App Store or Google Play checkout, the app-store checkout price controls for app-store purchases.

7. Apple App Store Billing

If you buy a digital subscription or in-app digital product through Apple App Store:

  • Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Auto-renewable subscriptions renew unless cancelled according to Apple rules.
  • Apple may handle billing, renewal notices, cancellations, refunds, family sharing, taxes, and receipts.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple account settings.
  • Refund requests for Apple purchases are generally handled by Apple.
  • SportPulse may receive transaction identifiers, subscription status, storefront, purchase date, expiry date, revocation status, and other receipt data needed to verify entitlement.

Apple rules may require digital content, subscriptions, or features consumed in the app to use in-app purchase unless an exception applies.

8. Google Play Billing

If you buy a digital subscription or in-app digital product through Google Play:

  • Payment is charged through Google Play checkout.
  • Google Play may handle billing, renewal, cancellation, refund, taxes, and purchase records.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions through Google Play account settings.
  • Refund requests for Google Play purchases may be handled by Google or according to Google Play policy.
  • SportPulse may receive product IDs, purchase tokens, order IDs, package names, purchase time, expiry time, auto-renew status, acknowledgement state, and related verification data.

SportPulse must clearly and accurately disclose pricing and paid-feature terms in the app and listing where required.

9. Web or Direct Billing

If SportPulse offers web or direct billing:

  • You authorize SportPulse or SportPulse payment processors to charge the displayed amount, taxes, fees, and renewal charges.
  • You must provide accurate billing information.
  • You remain responsible for unpaid charges, failed payments, chargebacks, and taxes.
  • Direct subscriptions may be managed through SportPulse account tools or support, as disclosed at purchase.

10. Renewal and Cancellation

Unless stated otherwise:

  • Monthly subscriptions renew each month.
  • Yearly subscriptions renew each year.
  • Cancelling stops future renewal but does not automatically refund the current billing period.
  • Access may continue until the end of the paid period unless cancelled immediately, revoked, refunded, charged back, or terminated for violation.
  • If payment fails, access may be paused, downgraded, cancelled, or retried.

Store subscriptions must be cancelled through the relevant store unless SportPulse provides another approved mechanism.

11. Trials, Promotions, and Manual Entitlements

SportPulse may offer trials, discounts, coupons, free periods, beta access, app-review access, manual entitlements, support credits, or promotional access.

These may:

  • Be limited by account, device, payment method, region, role, venue, organization, or time period.
  • Require a valid payment method.
  • Convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends, where disclosed.
  • Be changed, withdrawn, or revoked if abused.
  • Have no cash value unless expressly stated.

12. Entitlement Verification

SportPulse may verify purchases with Apple, Google, payment processors, and internal records. Access may depend on successful verification.

SportPulse may deny, revoke, or delay entitlement if:

  • A receipt, token, or transaction cannot be verified.
  • A purchase was refunded, revoked, charged back, expired, cancelled, consumed, on hold, or fraudulent.
  • The product ID does not map to a SportPulse plan.
  • The purchase belongs to another account.
  • Store, backend, or network systems are temporarily unavailable.

13. Feature Changes

SportPulse may add, remove, modify, replace, rename, combine, split, or retire paid features. If a material change affects an active paid subscription, SportPulse will handle it as required by applicable law and platform rules.

Not every feature is available on every platform or in every role.

14. Promotion Boost

Promotion Boost increases visibility for a tournament, event, or similar SportPulse surface for a limited window. It does not guarantee:

  • Views.
  • Clicks.
  • Joins.
  • Registrations.
  • Bookings.
  • Revenue.
  • Sponsor value.
  • Ranking position.
  • Search placement.
  • Tournament success.

Boost content must comply with the Fair Play, Community, and Moderation Policy, sponsor rules, intellectual property law, advertising law, and app-store rules.

15. Refunds

Refunds are governed by:

SportPulse may deny refunds for completed periods, consumed digital goods, running boosts, policy violations, fraud, or abuse where permitted by law.

16. Account Deletion and Subscription Access

Deleting your SportPulse account may affect your ability to use subscriptions, purchase history, entitlements, reports, bookings, or app-store-linked access. You should cancel active store subscriptions through Apple or Google before deleting your account if you no longer want renewal charges.

SportPulse may retain billing records as required by law.
